We’re working in partnership with a leading digital and tech agency to find a
Strategy Director with deep expertise in data and integrated thinking. This is a pivotal, board-level role for someone who can bridge the worlds of data, media, creative, and brand – shaping innovative, measurable strategies that drive real impact for ambitious clients.
This role isn’t just about data – it’s about bringing clarity, creativity, and strategic leadership across the full marketing spectrum. You’ll be working closely with both internal teams and senior client stakeholders (CTOs, CMOs, and beyond), helping to shape the future of the agency’s strategic offering.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading the development of integrated, data-first strategies that fuel powerful creative and media campaigns.
- Acting as a connector across departments – turning audience insight into work that delivers both brand and business results.
- Having highly technical conversations with data and tech teams, while also presenting with clarity and authority to senior client stakeholders.
- Bringing rigour and innovation to the agency’s strategic process – introducing new methodologies, frameworks, and ways of thinking.
- Mentoring and guiding a growing data and strategy team, creating a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Sitting on the board and actively shaping agency growth and positioning in the market.
- Staying on top of emerging tech, consumer trends, and industry shifts to keep clients ahead of the curve.
About You:
- You come from a truly integrated background – comfortable across media, creative, data, and brand strategy.
- You can confidently lead technical discussions with data experts, but also distill complex ideas for C-suite stakeholders.
- You’ve led strategic work within creative, digital, or media agencies, ideally on data-driven projects.
- You’re commercially-minded and culturally aware, always looking for the “why” behind audience behaviour.
- You have experience building and evolving strategic processes and frameworks – not just delivering campaigns, but shaping how the agency works.
- You’ve led teams, mentored others, and thrive in a collaborative environment where ideas move fast.
- You’re excited by the challenge of pushing boundaries, setting new standards, and helping clients do things differently.
