Exhibitions Project Manager
£35,000-£40,000 | Central London | Hybrid
We’re working with a really cool, independent exhibition design agency in London who are looking for an Exhibitions Project Manager to join their close-knit team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking projects from the initial design stages right through to delivery, working closely with designers, suppliers, clients and production partners to make sure everything comes together properly.

They’re a small, experienced team, so you’ll have plenty of ownership and won’t be lost in a huge corporate structure. You’ll be involved in a real mix of projects, with plenty of variety and the chance to work across both the creative and practical sides of exhibition delivery.

The role
You’ll be responsible for managing exhibition projects from pre-production through to build and onsite delivery.
Day to day, this could include:

  • Managing exhibition projects from initial design through to completion
  • Working closely with the internal design team to turn creative concepts into deliverable projects
  • Managing suppliers, contractors and production partners
  • Sourcing and coordinating materials, graphics, furniture and other project requirements
  • Managing production schedules, budgets and logistics
  • Reviewing technical drawings and production information
  • Coordinating deliveries and installation
  • Being involved onsite during build and breakdown when required
  • Troubleshooting issues and keeping projects moving when things inevitably change
  • Building strong relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Making sure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard

What they’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who has solid experience within exhibitions, events, experiential or a closely related production environment.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience managing exhibition projects from pre-production through to onsite delivery
  • A good understanding of suppliers, production processes and exhibition build
  • Experience coordinating multiple suppliers and stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • The confidence to get stuck into the detail and take ownership of projects
  • Good client communication skills
  • Experience working with designers and understanding how creative ideas translate into physical builds
  • A willingness to get onsite and make things happen

Experience with modular exhibition stand builds would be a big bonus, particularly if you’ve worked with modular systems, reusable structures or similar exhibition solutions.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is practical, switched-on and personable. Someone who enjoys working as part of a small team, gets things done and doesn’t need everything handed to them.

The company
They’re an independent exhibition design agency based in Central London, working across a really varied mix of exhibition and brand environment projects.

It’s a genuinely close-knit team where everyone knows what everyone else is doing and people pitch in to get the job done. You’ll have plenty of autonomy, but you’ll also have a supportive team around you.
No massive corporate hierarchy, no disappearing into a sea of departments, just a really good group of people doing interesting work.

£35,000-£40,000 depending on experience
