Account Manager / Event Project Manager
Circa £35,000 | Cheshire | Office-based

We’re working with a brilliant boutique events agency in Cheshire who are looking for an ambitious, hands-on Account Manager / Event Project Manager to join their growing team.

This is a really exciting time to be joining the agency. They’re a small, close-knit team delivering a great mix of UK experiential events, conferences and full-service agency work, and they’re looking for someone who wants to get stuck in and play a genuine part in the next stage of their growth.

You’ll work closely with the founder, taking ownership of projects and building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and partners along the way.

The role

This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days will be the same.
You’ll be involved across the full event lifecycle, including:

  • Managing projects from initial brief through to delivery
  • Acting as a key day-to-day contact for clients
  • Developing strong, trusted client relationships
  • Supporting with creative concepts, proposals and pitches
  • Managing budgets, timelines and project plans
  • Coordinating suppliers, venues, production teams and other partners
  • Supporting the delivery of experiential events and conferences across the UK
  • Getting involved in onsite delivery and making sure everything runs smoothly
  • Managing multiple projects and priorities at different stages
  • Working closely with the founder and wider team to deliver exceptional work
  • Getting involved across the wider agency wherever needed

There will also be plenty of opportunity to get involved in full-service agency projects, so this isn’t simply an event delivery role.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is driven, ambitious and genuinely wants to build a career within a growing independent agency.
You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience in events, experiential, marketing or a related agency environment
  • Experience managing client relationships and projects
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • A good understanding of event production and delivery
  • The confidence to manage suppliers and external partners
  • Excellent communication skills and a naturally client-first approach
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects and keep things moving
  • A hands-on attitude — happy to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in
  • The ambition to grow with a business and take on increasing responsibility

Experience working on influencer, PR or press events would be a big bonus, particularly if you’ve worked on campaigns where the guest experience and attention to detail are critical.

The agency
This is a small, independent and genuinely close-knit team where you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact.

You’ll work closely with the founder, meaning you’ll get exposure to the wider business, clients, pitches and strategy rather than being another cog in a big agency machine.
They’re ambitious, growing and doing some really interesting work – but they also like to have a lot of fun along the way.

If you’re someone who is commercially minded, client-focused and loves the buzz of getting an event over the line, this could be a really good next move.
