About the Role:
Our client, a dynamic and fast-paced marketing agency, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HR Manager to lead their people operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in HR management within a creative or marketing agency environment, with expertise in recruitment, people management, and working closely with C-suite executives.

Location: Manchester (Central)
3/4 days in the office per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies that support the company’s goals and align with its unique culture.
- Talent Acquisition: Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes to attract and retain top talent in the marketing industry.
- People Management: Lead and support employee development initiatives, including performance management, training, and career development programs.
- C-Suite Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic HR advice and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive work environment, ensuring high levels of employee satisfaction and retention.
- Policy Development: Create and implement HR policies and practices that comply with legal standards and reflect the company’s values.
- Conflict Resolution: Act as a trusted advisor for resolving employee relations issues and mediating workplace conflicts.
- HR Operations: Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Diversity & Inclusion: Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across the organisation.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years in HR, with at least 3 years in a senior HR role within a marketing, creative, or advertising agency.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, talent management, and employee engagement practices.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and influence at all levels of the organization, including C-suite executives.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and inspire trust.
- Problem-Solving: Proven experience handling complex employee relations issues with discretion and professionalism.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A CIPD qualification or equivalent is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and industry trends.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
