Our creative agency client are a dynamic and innovative creative digital agency, specialising in delivering top-tier creative solutions across digital, campaigns, and brand. They work with a diverse portfolio of clients, crafting compelling visual experiences that make an impact. As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a highly skilled Senior Artworker / Quality Controller to join our team and ensure that all creative output meets the highest standards.

Salary: 35k-40k
 
Job Overview: The Senior Artworker / Quality Controller will be the critical final checkpoint for all creative materials leaving the agency. This role requires a meticulous eye for detail, a deep understanding of design and production processes, and the ability to work hands-on across digital, campaign, and print media. You will not only contribute to the production of high-quality creative assets but also ensure that all deliverables meet client expectations and adhere to brand guidelines.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Final Sign-Off: Act as the final point of approval for all creative work before it is delivered to clients, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality across all outputs.
  • Hands-On Artworking: Work closely with designers and creatives to produce, refine, and finalise digital, campaign, and print assets, ensuring they are production-ready.
  • Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality control processes to catch and correct errors, from design and layout to typography and color accuracy, across all projects.
  • Brand Compliance: Ensure all creative materials align with client brand guidelines and maintain brand integrity across various mediums.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with creative directors, project managers, and designers to streamline workflows and ensure timely delivery of high-quality assets.
  • Technical Expertise: Apply expert knowledge of design software (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) and production techniques to create and correct artwork to the highest standards.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the production process, from technical challenges to creative inconsistencies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and technologies to continuously improve quality control processes and creative output.

 
Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in an artworker or similar role within a creative agency, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of work across digital, campaign, and print.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.), as well as knowledge of digital and print production processes.
  • Attention to Detail: An exceptional eye for detail, with the ability to spot and correct even the smallest errors in creative work.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Leadership: Experience in mentoring or leading junior artworkers or designers is a plus.
