Job Description:
Our client are seeking an organised, proactive, and hands-on Exhibition Warehouse Manager who will also be responsible for the onsite assembly of modular exhibition stands across the UK. This unique dual role requires a blend of warehouse management skills and practical, on-the-ground construction abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the exhibition warehouse, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Manage the inventory of modular exhibition stand kits, including tracking, maintenance, and organization.
- Coordinate the packing and dispatching of kits for upcoming exhibitions.
- Implement and maintain warehouse safety protocols.
- Perform regular inventory checks and manage stock levels to ensure availability and readiness.
Onsite Modular Stand Building:
- Travel to various exhibition locations across the UK to assemble and dismantle modular exhibition stands.
- Ensure all builds are completed to a high standard, adhering to client specifications and deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any onsite issues that may arise during the build process.
- Collaborate with clients and the internal design team to ensure the final product meets or exceeds expectations.
- Provide onsite leadership and direction to temporary build teams when necessary.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in the exhibition or events industry.
- Hands-on experience with modular stand building or similar construction work.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to travel across the UK and work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
- Valid UK driving license.
