Event Project Manager

Our client is a dynamic and innovative communications agency, specialising in delivering top-notch live experiences both nationally and internationally. We are supporting them with their search for a Project Manager to join their growing team in West Midlands.
 
This is an events-first role, but will also involve Creative, Campaign Delivery, Content Production and Internal Comms – it’s truly integrated! Delegate Management and Logistics experience is very important for this role.
 
Agency experience is desirable for this role.
 
Job Title: Event Project Manager
Location: Midlands (Hybrid working – 2/3 days in a central office)
Company: Leading Creative Events/ Comms Agency
Salary: Up-to 40k (DOE)
 
Responsibilities:

• Manage the planning and execution of large-scale events with a focus on Experiential and Internal Comms from start to finish
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including event production, design, creative
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded
• Develop and manage project budgets and timelines
• Oversee on-site event operations, ensuring smooth running and problem resolution
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to ensure best value for the client
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, and proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities

 
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in event management, preferably in an agency environment
• Proven track record of delivering successful, complex events with excellent project management skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of event production, including audio-visual, lighting, and rigging
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and producing innovative and memorable events
